On June 27 the «The Silver Age» gallery of the National Library of the Chuvash Republic opened a personal exhibition of Viktor Egorov (Avanmart), a member of the Union of Chuvash Artists, winner of the I. Yakovlev and V. Mitta Prizes, «Purely – far – solitary» in honor of the 90th anniversary of the birth of the national poet of the Chuvash Republic Gennady Aygi (1934-2006).
The worldwide famous writer, translator, one of the leaders of the vanguard art, Gennady Nikolaevich Aygi left the bright trace in the Russian and world culture, he had friends among the many modern artists.
G. Egorov (Avanmart) called his exhibition with the lines of the poet because Aygi’s work occupies a special place in his works. The exhibition includes 90 works: graphics, paintings, sculptures, photographs.
Viktor Avanmart was born in the village of Chebakovo of the Yadrin district of Chuvashia. He lives and works in Ulyanovsk. He is a diploma holder of the «Singing Tree» International woodcarver competition, winner and prize-winner of international sculpture competitions in Poland and Italy.
The opening day has gathered infamous figures of culture and art, education and science of the republic, colleagues and close ones of V. G. Avanmart, admirers of G. N. Aygi’s work, representatives of the media and admirers of beauty.
Atner Khuzangai, a scientist, literary critic and close friend of Gennady Aygi spoke about the poet’s influence on the development of Chuvash and world poetry and culture in general: «Without Aygi’s creative heritage, it is impossible to imagine either the past or the present of our national culture». Atner Petrovich congratulated Victor Avanmart on the opening of the exhibition and wished him new successes.
Congratulations to the artist came from Vladimir Tyapkin, a member of the Public Chamber of the Chuvash Republic.
Yuri Isaev, Director of the Chuvash State Institute of Humanities, Honorary Worker of Science and Technology of Russia, Doctor of Philology, made an honor speech: «Gennady Aygi is a whole epoch in the spiritual development of the Chuvash people, and the works of Viktor Avanmart show a delicate attitude towards the poet».
The honored scientist of Chuvashia and Russia, Doctor of Philology Vitaly Rodionov focused on the uniqueness of the figure of G. N. Aygi, who brought the innovative ideas to literature, expressed gratitude to the artist.
Natalya Solovyova, chairman of the Union of Chuvash Artists, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Art and Music Education of the I. Y. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University noted that the works presented at the exhibition reflect the ideas of the poetic word of G. N. Aygi.
Stanislav Mikhailov (Yukhtar), national artist of the Chuvash Republic remembered Gennady Aygi with a sense of deep respect, talked about his collaborative creative trips with Viktor Avanmart.
National poet of Chuvashia Svetlana Azamat, Honored Worker of Culture of Chuvashia Lydia Filippova, soloist of the Chuvash stage Rosa Stepanova, artist and bard Valery Krasnov, poet Yuri Bronitsyn appeared in front of the audience with their poems and songs.
The diploma of the winner of the internationaldrawingcompetition based on the fairytales of ElizavetaDolgova«SparrowChick-chirp» was presented to ViktorGlebovich by the author of the book.
Inconclusion, ViktorAvanmartandhiswifeIrinaNikolaevnaexpressed their gratitude to all those present.
